The Thanksgiving Play Reviews
Theatre Bloom- Recommended
"...In an attempt to juxtapose farce and high-intellect comedy over top of some intensely heavy debatable topics about narrative and cultural awareness, appropriation, history, and how that all conglomerates together at the educational level, playwright Larissa FastHorse has created somewhat of a muddle, blending genres into an ambiguous smear that creates some chaos for the actors and the audience as a whole, but that's not to say that it isn't worth investigating. There is definitely humor. There's definitely extraordinary points of discussion that will arise from watching this 'theatrical spin-art' get splattered onto the stage. And these are the conversations we should be having; the play has potential and should be supported."
