The Imaginary Invalid Reviews
The Imaginary Invalid
MD Theatre Guide- Highly Recommended
"...If the mainstage productions by the Classic Theatre of Maryland are an elegant, fine champagne, then their summer productions at Reynolds Tavern are more like having a beer with the guys. Director and Costumer Sally Boyett has a saying, "Nothing is too tacky for the Tavern" and the number of scatological jokes in "The Imaginary Invalid" bears this out. Since all of them are original to Moliere's 1673 script, it seems to be the perfect play to present in this setting."

"...Classic Theatre of Maryland’s production of The Imaginary Invalid is a hilarious adaptation of Molière’s farce. Directed by Sally Boyett and performed in the courtyard of Reynolds Tavern, it is a delightful way to kick off the summer and Classic Theatre’s “Comedy in the Courtyard.”"
