"...The cheerful nudity keeps things light, right from the opening song, which is aptly titled "Gratuitous Nudity." The bare bods are the only subject, really, and you have to grin or the encounter would be too awkward for words. The lads can sing (as if you care), and if the lyrics strain for jokes, the cast's joie de vivre invites you to overlook shortcomings and just have fun."

(No. None of that was really intentional, but trying to avoid the double entendres when discussing this show is getting hard. See?) It's clear the level of attention director Jeffrey Johnson gave to assembling the troupe for this show and it's work that's definitely paying off."

"...The musical revue’s opening number is called “Gratuitous Nudity,” which might be a better title for the show itself. The naked schtick only rarely enhances a song’s artistic values (as in the locker room sketch “Fight the Urge”); usually it just feels superfluous."

For this reviewer it’s actually rather refreshing – if a little unorthodox – to find that the trustworthy notepad hasn’t been flipped open for an hour or two at a time. Given that this rather arresting portrait of the modern man runs at Playbill Cafe – a performance space with barely enough seating to host a Thanksgiving dinner – it’s probably best to sit back, smile, and not draw attention to yourself.
