Meet the Cavendishes, the highly dysfunctional first family of the American stage, as they sword-fight, swoon, and act their way through their daily lives, proving the old axiom, the show -- and the family -- must go on. George S. Kaufman and Edna Ferber's 1927 classic comedy, based on the life of the Barrymores, is fast-paced, uproarious, and full of larger than life eccentrics. Kaufman and Ferber also wrote Stage Door and Dinner at Eight together. Rockville Little Theatre's production, directed by Laurie T. Freed, features Leah Mazade, Leta Hall, Alice Irvin and David Dieudonné.
