"..."Junie B. in Jingle Bells," directed by Kathryn Chase Bryer (and recommended for age 4 and up), imagines a different kind of student production: an elementary school play about Christopher Columbus and his ships. Funneling her energies into the key role of the Pinta is Junie B. Jones, the rambunctious first-grader seen at Imagination Stage a few years ago in Joan Cushing's musical "Junie B. Jones & A Little Monkey Business." Both that show and the current comedy, written by Allison Gregory, are based on the well-known children's book series by Barbara Park."
