Len Piper's Pinocchio

Len Piper's Pinocchio

The Puppet Co.
7300 MacArthur Blvd. Glen Echo

Hailed by critics as “A Masterpiece,” this production was created by the father of TPC cofounder Christopher Piper, and is completely refurbished and adapted for the Puppet Co. stage. Told with life-size marionettes and live actors, it is the story of a puppet that sheds its strings in pursuit of becoming a real boy. His adventures lead him into danger and foul company. A Fox and Cat sell him to an evil puppetmaster, he almost makes a donkey of himself, and to rescue his papa he must be swallowed by a whale. But, in the end, with the help of a talking cricket and a blue fairy, he is reunited with his father and granted his heart’s desire.
