"...The acting in Deirdre Kinahan's "Moment" at Studio Theatre is so sharp it's like seeing a play in a live equivalent of high-def. The drama revolves around a criminal incident that blew a family apart years ago; "Moment" captures a brief encounter as they fleetingly reunite in their mother's suburban kitchen."

"...Moment at Studio Theatre still has some way to go before the proverbial kinks are ironed out. Questionable accents abounded and as the play progressed some accents morphed or disappeared entirely. Throughout the entirety of the performance there was a lack of consistency in the pronunciation of the name Niamh, which left me baffled. This lack of consistency may seem trivial but these kinks have the power to distract us from the magic onstage."

"...With a steady, unsettling gaze, Kinahan exposes the raw nerves of homespun sexism that fixes siblings for life in relation to one other and to themselves.
