Lost in Wonderland takes the audience back to the literary universe of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through The Looking Glass, this time through Lewis Carroll's eyes. As Carroll follows his beloved Alice through his own magical world, he discovers that Wonderland is not as pleasant as he imagined. Creators Ingrid DeSanctis and Andrew Morrissey have crafted a dazzling new musical that will show you a brand new side of Wonderland.

"...The mad hatter, pleading to Lewis for sanity is told that he has to be mad because he's the mad hatter, but we need more than "things are the way they are because they are the way they are" to willingly go along for this adventure. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is more than whimsy (though it is certainly that), and is carefully structured. In Lewis's own words, from Lost in Wonderland, "you have to follow the rules," but especially when looking for interesting ways to break them as Lost in Wonderland certainly does, and should. Get along to see this show and, like me, you'll be anxious to see its next incarnation, too."

"...The pleasing music of Lost in Wonderland keeps the production interesting by utilizing a variety of styles, and most of the numbers involve effective interplay between the characters. The lyrics are mostly entertaining with a few songs that aspire to deeper meaning. The later number "Wonders Unfold" about the author's challenges is particularly beautiful and evocative."

The libretto, although repetitive, is quite well-written and features some funny and tender moments that are appropriate given what we know about these characters (Brian J.
