Lady Lay

Warehouse Theater
645 New York Ave, NW Washington

Where were you when you first heard the Berlin Wall was coming down? In Lydia Stryk's new play with music Lady Lay, the main character is a frustrated clerk in the Berlin Employment Office who hears the music of Bob Dylan for the first time just as the Wall starts crumbling. You can follow her journey of musical and political discovery when Warehouse Theater stages a workshop performance of the play on November 9, the 25th anniversary of the Wall's fall.
