In this affecting and surprisingly funny contemporary musical, a nine-year-old girl loses her hair to leukemia, and sets off on a mythical quest to find it, creating her own reality to cope with her cancer. Her imaginary friend and a fellow patient tag along on the fantastical journey, accompanied by an upbeat pop score from the award-winning team of Michael Kooman and Christopher Dimond. Dani Girl's been developed through several prestigious programs, including the Festival of New American Musicals, and the ASCAP/Disney Musical Theatre Workshop.
