"...Behn gets something like her moment in Liz Duffy Adams’ play Or, a comedy written with a dash of historical liberties and a heavy hat tip to its heroine’s place in the canon. Under artistic director Allison Arkell Stockman’s direction for Constellation Theatre Company, it approaches the kind of romp Behn is known for, but never quite solves the challenge of making Behn the writer as interesting as her characters—or as interesting as she was in a previous life."

While the dialogue is not in strict iambic pentameter, the actors maintain a similar melody and style. They occasionally drop into rhymed verse, knowingly, in conversation with each other. This gives the impression that the characters are themselves admirers of the Bard, paying homage in their language and their decisions."
