Washington Post - Somewhat Recommended

"...Strong performances and pitch-perfect design elements help bridge some of the worst credibility gaps in "Now Comes the Night," a world-premiere drama at 1st Stage. The production, staged by the theater's artistic director, Alex Levy, is often riveting, but not because of the script by E.M. Lewis. Rather, it is because of the finesse and commitment that the three actors under Levy's guidance bring to it. Lewis writes intense dialogue, but she hasn't told a convincing tale."

"...Clearly written, sharp and witty, brilliantly staged and beautifully acted, Now Comes the Night moved swiftly and kept me thoroughly engaged. If you are not used to venturing out of DC for professional theatre, be adventurous and venture out to 1st Stage for its season debut Now Comes the Night!"
