The Wiggles Bring the Tree of Wisdom Spectacular to Capital One Hall

The Wiggles - Tree of Wisdom Spectacular at Capital One Hall

The world's most popular children's group is headed to the DC area. The Wiggles will perform two shows of their Tree of Wisdom Spectacular at Capital One Hall in Tysons on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, with performances at 3pm and 6pm.

For families with young kids, this is about as sure a bet as live entertainment gets. The Wiggles have been getting preschoolers singing and dancing for more than three decades, and this tour promises their biggest and brightest show yet. Expect a high-energy concert packed with sing-along moments from the songs kids already know by heart, including "Rock-A-Bye Your Bear," "Fruit Salad Yummy Yummy" and "Hot Potato," plus newer favorites like "Big Red Ute" and "Bin Night."

Who is the Tree of Wisdom?
If you have young children and an internet connection, you may already know. The Tree of Wisdom is the breakout star of the current Wiggles universe, a dancing tree character played by Dominic Field, nephew of original Blue Wiggle Anthony Field. His "dance like no one's watching" routines went viral in 2024 and have since racked up over 200 million views on social media, winning over celebrity fans from Robert De Niro to Dolly Parton along the way.

The character inspired a full album, The Tree of Wisdom, released in fall 2025. It mixes new originals with reimagined Wiggles classics and playful covers, including a Wiggly take on Tina Turner's "Nutbush City Limits." The Tree himself appears on stage with The Wiggles throughout the tour, so kids who know him from their screens will get to see those signature moves in person.

Why it works for kids
A Wiggles concert is built for little ones in a way most live shows are not. The music is interactive from start to finish, with plenty of chances to sing, clap, point fingers and do the twist. Nobody expects kids to sit still or stay quiet, which takes the pressure off parents. The shorter runtime and afternoon and early evening start times fit young attention spans and early bedtimes. Whether it's your child's first concert or an annual family tradition, it's the kind of show that leaves everyone smiling on the drive home.

The 3pm matinee is a natural fit for toddlers and preschoolers, while the 6pm show works well for families with school-age kids or parents coming from work.
