Teatro De La Luna Presents Wordless Theatre Piece 'GO'
Jan 7, 2026
Teatro De La Luna will present "GO," an evocative physical theatre and pantomime performance, at Casa de la Luna from January 30 through February 8, 2026. This wordless production offers audiences a unique theatrical experience that relies entirely on movement and gesture to tell its story.
Go presented by Teatro de la Luna at Casa de la Luna
Created and performed by actors-mimes Pablo Guillen and Rodin Alcerro, "GO" explores what happens when two individuals encounter each other on stage, transforming poetry into physical movement. The narrative unfolds without dialogue as the two characters meet—perhaps by chance, perhaps by destiny—and their relationship develops through expressive gestures and choreographed sequences. Both Guillen and Alcerro have dedicated their careers to theatre in their native Honduras and beyond. Their collaboration on "GO" earned acclaim from audiences and critics alike when it premiered at the DC Fringe Festival last summer. Now Teatro de la Luna is bringing the production back to kick off their 2026 season, offering Washington area theatre lovers another opportunity to experience this distinctive form of artistic expression.
Pablo Guillen brings extensive experience to the production, having participated in numerous Teatro de la Luna shows as an actor, instructor, and director for both children's and adult programming. He has also performed at GALA Hispanic Theatre in Washington, DC. Rodin Alcerro made his Teatro de la Luna debut at the Children's Theatre Festival at Casa de la Luna and has since appeared in play readings and children's theatre productions with Teatro La Bolsa and GALA Hispanic Theater. Both performers have also graced the stage at Synetic Theatre in Arlington, Virginia.
The production runs Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 pm, with Sunday matinees at 4:00 pm. Friday performances will be followed by post-show discussions, giving audiences a chance to engage with the artists about their creative process and the unique challenges of wordless storytelling.
Casa de la Luna is located at 4020 Georgia Avenue NW in Washington, DC, easily accessible via the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Metro Station on the Green and Yellow Lines. Street parking is available, with free parking on Sundays. Patrons can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine with their visit.
Tickets are priced at $30 for general admission and $25 for students and seniors aged 60 and above. Groups of five or more can receive discount pricing. For those seeking theatre that transcends language barriers and celebrates the power of physical expression, "GO" offers an exquisite artistic experience that speaks directly to the imagination.
