Candlelight Concert Series Brings Magical Beatles Tribute to Washington DC
The Candlelight Concert Series is bringing one of the most beloved catalogs in music history to life in one of Washington DC's most stunning settings. Candlelight: Tribute to The Beatles transforms the grandeur of the National City Christian Church into an intimate, glowing concert hall where the timeless songs of The Beatles are reimagined for string quartet — all bathed in the warm flicker of candlelight.
Performed by the acclaimed Listeso String Quartet, the 60-minute program weaves together some of the most iconic songs ever written, spanning the full arc of the Fab Four's extraordinary legacy. Audiences can expect to hear beloved classics including "Come Together," "Blackbird," "Eleanor Rigby," "Here Comes the Sun," "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," "A Day in the Life," "Yesterday," and "Let It Be," among others — a setlist that is equal parts joyful and deeply moving.
The National City Christian Church, a historic landmark on Thomas Circle built in 1930, provides a breathtaking backdrop for the experience. Its striking architecture and soaring interior lend the evening a sense of occasion that perfectly suits the music, making it one of the more memorable live concert settings in the DC area.
The show runs approximately 60 minutes with doors opening 45 minutes prior to the start. Seating is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis within each zone. The event is open to guests ages 8 and older, with anyone under 16 required to be accompanied by an adult.
Whether you're a lifelong Beatles devotee or simply looking for a uniquely beautiful night out in DC, this is an experience not to be missed.
