Broadway at The National has announced its 2026-2027 season, a fourteen-show lineup that stretches from fall 2026 through summer 2027 and brings a mix of Tony Award-winning premieres, beloved revivals, and one of the most celebrated musicals of the past decade back to Washington, D.C.

"This season represents a new chapter for Broadway at The National," said Nick Scandalios, Chief Operating Officer of the Nederlander Organization. "With seven extraordinary titles — including major premieres, bold new productions, and the return of one of the biggest shows in Broadway history — we're delivering a lineup that is truly bigger, broader, and more dynamic than ever before. Join the experience by getting season tickets to Broadway at The National."

The core seven-show season package opens in late September with a new production of Dirty Dancing: The Musical, followed by the D.C. premiere of Maybe Happy Ending, the six-Tony Award winner directed by Michael Arden that has drawn widespread acclaim since its Broadway run. Alicia Keys' Hell's Kitchen, the autobiographical musical built around Keys' songbook, arrives just before the holidays for a two-week engagement.

Hamilton then settles in for a lengthy run spanning December through early February, marking the return of Lin-Manuel Miranda's Pulitzer and Tony-winning phenomenon to the city. The back half of the season brings the D.C. premieres of Operation Mincemeat: A New Musical — the Olivier Award winner that earned the title of best-reviewed show in West End history — and Just in Time, the Bobby Darin musical that has been drawing strong notices on Broadway. A new production of The Bodyguard, based on the 1992 Whitney Houston film, rounds out the seven-show package in May.

Season ticket holders also gain immediate access to seven additional specials woven throughout the year. That list includes Mamma Mia!, The Hip Hop Nutcracker, Waitress, A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical, The Who's Tommy, Jersey Boys, and the D.C. premiere of Oh, Mary!, Cole Escola's comedy about Mary Todd Lincoln that became one of the more talked-about productions of the past Broadway season.
Season packages begin at $360 and are now at BroadwayAtTheNational.com. An early purchase payment plan is available, with installments starting at $60 per month over six months. Individual tickets will be announced at a later date.
