Into The Woods Reviews
MD Theatre Guide- Recommended
"...The production thrives with its intended audience, situated nicely where the theatre world and D&D world intersect. The fact that Madejski and her team took great care in the details and their commitment to the theme is both commendable and enjoyable. Mostly, it is incredibly refreshing to see a creative and unique take on a familiar classic, something that is sometimes hard to find in other productions. Workhouse’s “Into The Woods” is unusually unique in trying something different, even if the final product isn’t 100% cohesive. If you are a fan of both D&D and theatre, you will thoroughly enjoy Workhouse’s journey “into the woods.”"

"...Director Jackie Madejski’s ingenious interpretation of Steven Sondheim’s famous fairy tale musical, Into the Woods, is perhaps the best thing I’ve seen this year. The popular musical brings together several classic Grimm Brothers characters as they venture “into the woods” on individual yet intertwining journeys, each in search of something. This production tells this story with a truly unique and innovative twist: it is told through the modern lens of a Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) game."
