"...Which may explain the cobbled-together quality of a script whose setup is legit hokey: Two bickering women who work in a spa are giving a mani and a pedi to a man, a regular customer, who out of the blue lets them know that when he dies he wants his ashes flung at his dream crush, Neil Patrick Harris. (That theater critic, what a card.) The man then drops dead on the spot. The unnerved nail techs decide to take it upon themselves to grant their dearly departed client his dying wish (because of course), and in the wacky process of doing so, they form an improbable bond and quit bickering."

"...Kaye keeps the production fast-paced, allowing the trio of O’Connor, Gill, and Poole to exercise their comedic chops. O’Connor and co-producer Ileana Madison Blustein have designed the visual appearance of the set, costumes, and props, opting for simple backgrounds to draw attention to the colors the nail techs deal in. A particularly clever example is how they costume their two main characters with Katie wearing a denim-blue and leopard-print combo that brings together the simple and flamboyant, while Cha-Cha’s black T-shirt sports the cover design of Pink Floyd’s iconic album The Dark Side of the Moon in which white light is refracted by a prism into colors of the rainbow."

The theatre, the production company, the cast, and crew represent a delightfully synergistic bundle of art and energy that certainly deserves a place at the table of a dynamic DC theatre scene."

"...Joshua Aaron Poole has the hang of it. He has to play at least four different people and doesn't have a hectic bone in his body. His performances constitute the oasis of calm that comedy requires. There's enough physical farce in Finding Neil Patrick Harris to put it in league with heavy hitters such as Noises Off and The Play that Goes Wrong. And. It. Is. Hard. O'Connor and Gill sometimes forget to breathe; it wouldn't spoil anything if the show ran five or even eight minutes longer."
