Accused! Reviews

"...Anarchists are on the loose in Late Victorian London, detonating bombs at will, and the chaos threatens to sweep up the Ladies Detective Collective in more ways than one. This is the third and, if the playwright Patricia Milton’s promise in the program holds firm, final installment of the adventures of the Victorian Ladies’ Detective Collective, presented by the Washington Stage Guild through Dec. 14."

"...Director Morgan Duncan draws good performances from his cast. The detectives have a believable and engaging group dynamic, supporting but also sniping at each other. The set design, by Megan Holden, is impressively detailed, further drawing the audience into the play's world."

"...Washington Stage Guild, DC’s resident purveyor of literary works often set in bygone eras, is all in on murder mania with its production of Accused!, the third and final installment of Playwright Patricia Milton’s Victorian Ladies Detective Collective plays. WSG produced parts one and two of the series in previous seasons, and now they are back, with much of the same cast, to conclude this delightful trilogy."
