Cyrano extended. In every sense of the word

Due to popular demand, Folger Theatre has added seven performances of Michael Hollinger's new translation of Cyrano to its schedule. Under the direction of Aaron Posner, Cyrano now runs through Sunday, June 12, 2011.

Cyrano de Bergerac-ashamed of his large nose-uses his wit and poetry to help the handsome Christian woo Roxane. This compelling, new adaptation of Edmond Rostand's classic play, set in the streets of 17th-century Paris and the battlefield, is unequivocally clever, extremely funny, and distinctly touching.
