King John
3700 South Four Mile Run Drive Arlington
Dramatizing the reign of England's ruler, Shakespeare's King John was one of the playwright's earliest works, but was not published until it appeared in the First Folio in 1623. Shakespeare's most enigmatic king wrestles with covetous heirs, rebellious lords and his own conscience as he attempts to keep the throne and his own sanity. Helmed by Artistic Director Tom Prewitt and featuring actors Christopher Henley, Cam Magee and Chuck Young, this intense production showcases the mastery of Shakespeare's plotting and language.
