Revealing an alternate gender identity to your loved ones is tough enough, but when your family is conservative Muslim, the level of difficulty shoots sky high. In this solo show based on his own experiences, award-winning performer-playwright Mashuq Mushtaq Deen tells his story of going from female-to-male from the point of view of his friends and family, resulting in a heartfelt and humorous production at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in DC.
