When a drag queen from the legendary and close-knit performance family House of Lights meets and seduces the young and innocent Eric, he embarks on a journey of discovery. Eric, a gay man who's never had much interest in drag, watches as rival houses prepare for a drag ball, learning about the culture as he goes. He discovers that these dazzling spectacles are part turf war, part pageant, all conquest. It's all about desiring to be desired, finding your home and dominating your doubters.
