The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) is exactly that kind of show, one that aims to make fun of musical theater ... only to prove the genre's greatness beyond any doubt. The show takes a simple plot -- "I can't pay the rent!" -- and spins it five different times, each in the style of a genius composer or composing team, including Rodgers & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Kander & Ebb and Andrew Lloyd Webber.
