On its way to New York for an off-Broadway run, The Actual Dance continues to sweep audiences off their feet with its powerful exploration of illness and life's "last waltz." Featuring local playwright and actor, Samuel A. Simon, The Actual Dance draws on Simon's own experience. Movement and music are interwoven into this dramatic interpretation of his wife's journey through breast cancer and beyond. Even as he bravely gives voice to his worst fears, Simon still manages to demonstrate what love truly means. Kate Holland directs this graceful and inspiring production with live musical accompaniment on guitar and cello.
