They say that if you can remember the '60s, then you weren't really there. Fortunately, we've got SHOUT!, a nostalgic musical revue, to help us remember. It tracks five groovy gals coming of age during the liberating days when London was swingin' and songbirds like Lulu, Petula Clark and Dusty Springfield topped the charts. SHOUT! uses letters to an advice columnist, true confessions, quizzes and advertisements as its framework, with new arrangements of such chart-topping hits as "To Sir With Love," "Downtown," "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me," "Son of a Preacher Man" and "Goldfinger." It's a fun-filled blend of hip-swiveling hits, colorful fashions and psychedelic dances that inspired The New York Times to call it "a bright vinyl time capsule."
