Elden Street Players presents the Tony-winning drama Red by playwright and screenwriter John Logan (Any Given Sunday, The Aviator). Director Gloria DuGan, whose production of Blood Brothers won a WATCH Award, helms this biographical play about contemporary artist Mark Rothko, during a time in his life when he is battling his inner demons as well as a prickly new assistant and the volatile and often fickle art world. As he confronts these obstacles, he also labors to complete a series of grand-scale (and now world-famous) paintings for the Four Seasons luxury restaurant in late-'50s New York.
