With t by Gabriel Garcia and featuring family members Susan Duston, Vanessa Diaz and artist Vicky Leyva, this evening of song, dance and scenes weaves together the music, poetry, history and contemporary experiences of Afro-Peruvians. Leyva was originally a member of the folkloric group Perú Negro. The production is directed by GALA Hispanic Theatre's Artistic Director Hugo Medrano.
