Through puppetry and an intriguing perspective on the human condition, Materialize points a figurative mirror at the members of its audience and asks: what masks do you wear? Are you at home in your own skin, comfortable with the decisions you make, or do the thoughts and opinions of others have a drastic effect on your self-worth? Through a collection of original scenes inspired by real-life stories, this unique Maryland Ensemble Theatre production explores themes of identity, objectification, dehumanization and realization.
