Looking Glass at Joe's Movement Emporium

Indian cultural arts troupe Nootana returns to Joe's Movement Emporium in Mt. Rainier with Looking Glass, an original dance drama that's steeped in tradition, history and fantasy. The performance tells the captivating tale of a beautiful queen who transforms her kingdom from an environment of love, beauty, friendship and compassion into the embodiment of vengeance, mystery, drama and disintegration. As with their previous cultural showcase Journey, Nootana continues to present the D.C. Metropolitan area with innovative renditions and perspectives of Indian classical music and dance, incorporating styles from all over the world.
