Fringe Pop
1358 Florida Ave., NE Washington
Capital Fringe's Pop, which stands for "Performance Over Projection," combines a staging of short plays with a screening of short films to explore the notion of privacy and the differences -- or the growing lack thereof -- between public and private spaces. This innovative series even adds digital projections of local places as a panoramic backdrop for the various 10-minute plays, which are thematically paired with the short films that follow. This sure-to-be-entertaining series unfolds at the Logan Fringe Art Space in DC, featuring two different programs, Public and Private.
