The exciting new dance-theater work Freeze Frame from writer-director-choreographer Debbie Allen delves into issues of race and violence through an entertaining yet thoughtful mix of movement, music, film and storytelling. With original songs by Stevie Wonder, James Ingram, Arturo Sandoval and others, this high-energy show had a successful L.A. run earlier this year, and is set to feature Tony-winning Broadway performers, young hip hop artists, and Debbie Allen Dance Academy performers when it comes to the stage at The Kennedy Center's Eisenhower Theater in DC.
