Fabulation: or the Re-Education of Undine tells the story of Undine Barnes Calles, born Sharona Watkins. Undine is a successful publicist whose best client is herself. She has transformed herself from a child of the projects to a wealthy yuppie. When her husband disappears with all of her money, Undine must slink home, reduced back to welfare mom status. This is a thought-provoking and humorous tale of a woman forced to put aside her own fabulations and face reality.
