Capital Fringe is the only major unjuried, self-producing, open-access festival in the Washington, DC area and occurs in July each year. The festival provides all artists, whether new or established, a venue to express and develop their talents and artistic visions in total freedom. Check out comedy, drama or spoken word, productions updating classic texts or performances styles, themes of politics, race or religion, a variety of traditional dance and physical performances, historical biopics and other productions beyond description.
