The Romantic Age produced an astonishing amount of written works that are viewed as classics, and along the stormy shores of Lake Geneva in 1816, three titans of literature came together for a turbulent pairing that would leave Europe awestruck. Bloody Poetry, crafted by legendary playwright Howard Brenton, details the professional and personal dalliances of Percy Shelley, Lord Byron and Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley during their time together. Defying societal norms of the time, they help transform literature while leaving scandal in their wake.
