Blithe Spirit at The National Theatre

Broadway, film and TV legend Angela Lansbury (Murder, She Wrote) returns to her Tony-winning role as Madame Arcati in this blockbuster revival of Noël Coward's comedy Blithe Spirit, alongside Downton Abbey's Charles Edwards. Novelist Charles Condomine (Edwards) invites medium Madame Arcati (Lansbury) to his house for a séance as research for his latest novel. But Arcati unwittingly summons the ghost of Charles' dead wife, Elvira -- much to the chagrin of his current wife. Now Charles is caught in the middle of a contentious love triangle from beyond the grave.
