Gorge yourself on Washington Improv Theater’s summer improv event: BINGE. WIT’s six company ensembles have cooked up a bounty of new offerings for this five-week run, each worthy of going back for seconds. From King Bee’s soap opera-inspired melodrama to Season Six’s sci-fi romps, WIT’s unscripted, one-time-only performances can satisfy any Washingtonian’s quest for entertainment. The five-week run kicks off with a pair of performances by Dummy, the Chicago-based duo of Colleen Doyle and Jason Shott. The performers, who are perform at the revered improv school and theater iO, have cultivated a strong reputation for their emotionally rich and honest 45-minute show.
